Rutile is a Titanium bearing mineral (TiO2). The TiO2 content in rutile produced by all the three mineral separation plants is over 94%.

Rutile is used for the production of:
* Titanium dioxide pigment, used in paints, papers, plastics, textiles, etc.
* Titanium sponge, that finds application in aircraft body, artificial limbs, golf clubs, etc.
* Welding fluxes, used as a coating on welding electrodes.
